Personas


The squishy nature of the Public Safety personas required an emphasis on security throughout our sitemaps as roles and responsibilities are often defined by shifting schedules. This adjustment provided deeper insights into user journeys for government HR, making it simpler to design experiences that prioritize customer outcomes over product features.



Administrators manage access, people, and act as the gatekeeper at the end of the funnel across the NEOGOV portfolio. Bulk actions and predictive analytics are critical to their role.

Specialists, or users with elevated permissions, are responsible for completing tasks and managing the work loads of others. Clarity in the information architecture, task priorities, and an ability to customize analytical data is critical to their role.

Users with basic permissions sit in a variety of locations and needs consistent access with clear priorities and scheduling of tasks. Adaptive UX that meets their needs in a variety of situations is critical to their role.
